Think you know your Premiership and Championship rugby? Oakham RFC's new Last Man Standing competition is your chance to put your predictions to the test, compete for a cash prize and help raise funds for our junior rugby tours.

With the first round taking place on 30–31 October 2026, now is the time to get involved!

How does Last Man Standing work?

The idea is simple: pick a winning rugby team each round and stay in the competition for as long as possible.

Pick a winner: Choose one team from the listed Premiership or Championship fixtures.

Win and progress: If your chosen team wins, you survive and move into the next round.

Lose or draw: If your team loses or draws, you're eliminated.

Choose wisely: You can only select each team once throughout the competition, so planning ahead could make all the difference.

Last one standing: The final remaining player wins the prize pot. If multiple players remain when the competition ends, the prize is shared.

£10 to enter – supporting our junior tours

Entry costs just £10, with the money split equally between the competition and club fundraising:

£5 goes into the cash prize pot.

£5 supports fundraising for Oakham RFC's upcoming junior rugby tours.

The more people who enter, the bigger the prize pot and the more money we raise to help our young players enjoy valuable rugby experiences away from home.

First round – 30 & 31 October

The competition gets underway with its first game week on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October 2026.

Important: All first-round selections must be submitted by 12 noon on Friday 30 October.

Once registered, you'll receive a private entry code to make your selections. You can change your pick until the round deadline, after which your selection becomes final.

You can also follow the competition leaderboard online to see who's still standing as the rounds progress.
