Oakham Rugby Club’s First XV is the flagship senior side of the Club — a rejuvenated squad built on commitment, pride, and ambition. Under the guidance of Head Coach Jamie Ray, the team is focused on rebuilding, growing, and competing at the highest level possible while representing the town and community with passion.

The squad has grown to over 30 regular players, blending experienced senior players with exciting emerging talent from our Youth pathway. Training is competitive, challenging, and enjoyable, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, fitness, and developing every player’s game.

Whether you’re an established player looking for a fresh challenge, a returning member keen to pull on the amber and black again, or a newcomer seeking to test yourself in a competitive but welcoming environment, Oakham RFC First Team is the place to do it.

We are always looking for new members to join the squad, on and off the field, as we continue to drive Oakham Rugby forward.
