ORFC follows the RFU Safer Recruitment process - We adopt the RFU Core values – TREDS
All staff and volunteers at ORFC in a role which involves working with children or vulnerable adults within regulated activity are required to hold a valid DBS. This will be processed by the SGO following completion of Volunteer Form and completion of Introduction to Safeguarding. Information on Identification required: can be found on the GOV website.
Volunteer forms should be renewed annually and sent electronically to the SGO: link to one form.
It is a mandatory requirement for Introduction to Safeguarding to be in date for DBS applications to be processed.
ORFC ask that Volunteers renew this annually before the start of season along with age grade related Headcase Awareness, Tackle Safe is recommended for older age group coaches and volunteers
