5. RAISING A CONCERN
- If you notice something which causes concern, please speak to the Club Safeguarding Officer (CSO) at your earliest convenience, or raise this with the head coach of your age group who will inform the CSO.
- You do not have to undertake the safeguarding investigation however have a responsibility to raise concerns and aid the CSO in their initial information gathering. Please ensure your account is as factual and detailed as possible.
- The matter may be raised with the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) or the RFU who may also wish to speak to you.
- There is a reporting form which can help you as a memory aid or be emailed over to the CSO if you are not able to speak in person.
- If you feel unable to speak to your CSO, Head Coach, or the ORFC Chairman about the matter please contact the RFU using the Speak Up Reporting Form.
